Challenge yourself through a series of prompts, where you’ll learn to research, discover new materials and develop new work that reflects issues around creativity during times of distress.

Follow a flexible schedule that works for your life

Through a mix of live and recorded video sessions using Zoom and our learning management system, you will share work in progress, present projects and ideas, and connect with instructors one-on-one and in small groups.

Students must take courses in multiple sessions in order to complete all Advanced Program Online certificate requirements.

Students who enroll in RISD’s Advanced Program Online join a certificate track designed to develop a comprehensive approach to creativity, including building fundamental skills, stretching conceptual abilities and learning to successfully present your portfolio.
